METAMORA, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's golf team came out on top at the CCIW Preview on Tuesday with a final score of 304. 

Sarah Bond was victorious at the event with a score of 72 to tie for fifth fifth-best round score in school history, and to sit just one over par. Lauren Reinertson and Riley Kinsella followed in a tie for second after hitting 77. Georgia Holt shot 78 on the day to finish fourth, and Madison Barnes clinched fifth with a score of 79.

Kami Jarvill secured 12th with a round score of 82, while Abby Buechele hit 84 on the day for 17th. Emma VanderWall clinched a top-20 spot with a final score of 86. 

The Vikings will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 17, for a JV dual against Carl Sandburg.
