DECORAH, Iowa -- The Augustana Vikings men's cross country team finished third out of four teams at the competitive Luther All-American Invite on Saturday. 

Christian Haywood led the Vikings with an eighth-place finish with a time of 22:00.4. Jaden Gocken crossed the finish line at 22:16.2 for 13th place, and Daniel Prochaska followed three seconds behind with a time of 22:19.7. Lukas Nykaza clocked a time of 22:23.0 to finish 16th, while Adam Miller placed 21st with a time of 22:33.8. Emiliano Almendariz clinched a top-30 placement with a time of 22:59.2, and Ben Gricius followed eight milliseconds later for 30th. 

Other finishers for Augie were Isaac Schuda (23:04.1), Ethan Storie (23:26.1), Ben Milner (23:38.2), August Haak (23:45.4), Mitch Dolynchuk (24:29.1), Chase Palm (25:06.2), Tyler Weber (25:57.5), Primo Moreno (26:13.3), Diego Gomez (27:07.5), Jeffrey Tsao (27:33.6), and Josh Traugott (27:54.8).

The Vikings will be back in action on Sept. 19 for the Bradley Intercollegiate hosted by Bradley.
