GENEVA, Ohio -- The final two members of the Augustana women's track & field team left to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships both earned First Team All-American status in their respective events on Saturday.
McKenzie Reser was the national runner-up in the 400m race after posting a lifetime best mark of 54.07 to finish in second, just .14 out of first place. Just 90 minutes later, the senior earned a fifth-place standing in the 200m with a time of 24.06. She is the first outdoor 400m All-American for the women's program since 1993 and the first in the outdoor 200m since 2018.
Lina Maatouk also collected All-American honors in the 800m on Saturday, finishing fourth in the event with a time of 2:08.52. Â The senior is the first All-American in the outdoor 800m for the Vikings since 2000.
