Men's track & field boasts three All-Americans at NCAA Outdoor Championships

GENEVA, Ohio -- All three men's track & field student-athletes garnered All-American honors on Friday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

AJ Banks collected Second Team honors after his 14th place finish in the 110m hurdles after clocking a time of 14.54. Joe Langridge placed 12th in the 3,000m steeplechase after qualifying for the finals on Thursday. He posted a time of 9:18.91 on Friday to secured Second Team All-American status. Mike Hudson wrapped up the decathlon on Friday with a third-place standing in the 1,500m to move up to 10th place overall and seal Second Team All-American recognition. He started the day finishing 13th in the 110m hurdles and then proceeded to win the discus event with a toss of 39.62m. He earned 13th in the pole vault and then won his second event of the day with a 51.12m toss in the javelin. 

Banks is the fist All-American in the 110m hurdles since Joe Butler in 1988, while Hudson is the first All-American in the decathlon in Augustana men's track & field program since Dan Rakestraw in 1996.
