PEORIA, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team climbed to fourth place out of nine teams on Friday with a score of 298. 

Sam Evenson advanced to a tie for ninth after hitting one under par with a score of 71 for a total of 145. Jacob Brokaw shot 76 for the second day in a row to move to 21st for a total score of 152. Kevin Cortez and Patrick McGrath followed in a four-way tie for 27th with a score of 154. Cortez hit 78 on the day, while McGrath obtained 76. Drake Stoudt collected a round two score of 75 to sit in a tie for 31st with a total of 155.

The Vikings will be back in action tomorrow for the final day of the CCIW Championships.
