NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Augustana Vikings women's track & field team moved up two spots into the top 10 at No. 9 in the latest USTFCCCA ratings index released on Tuesday.
The Vikings are nearly two weeks removed from their third-place finish at the CCIW Outdoor Championships earlier this month where they boasted five individual champions and one relay title. Currently, four members of the team are ranked in the top 10 in the country in their respective events.
McKenzie Reser is eighth in the 400 and 10th in the 200, while
Lina Maatouk is sixth in the 800m. In field events,
Charlotte Frere owns the top mark in the nation in the discus, while
Heather Michalski is sixth in the javelin.
Augustana is the highest-ranked CCIW team on the list.
