NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's and women's track & field teams will head to the campus of North Central for the 2025 CCIW Outdoor Championships on May 2-3. The Augie women were selected fourth in the pre-championship coaches' poll released on Thursday, while the men were slotted in a tie for second.

On the men's side, the Vikings are looking to build upon a fourth place finish at least year's conference meet. Mike Hudson was the CCIW champion in the decathlon and Magnus Wells won the javelin, while the team itself boasted double-digit All-Conference performances. For the women, the Vikings saw four conference titles on an individual level, three of which belong to student-athletes who are back this season. McKenzie Reser won the 200m, Lina Maatouk the 800m, and Emma Odle claimed first in the 3,000m steeplechase. As a team, the women enjoyed nearly 20 All-Conference efforts.

The championship will begin Friday at 10 a.m. with field events. Track events follow Friday at 2:30 p.m. Saturday's events will have a 9:30 a.m. start. The post-championship awards ceremony is slated for approximately 6:25 p.m. Live video and results links can be found here.
