BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Thursday in the CCIW Tournament quarterfinals, falling to the Wheaton Thunder by a score of 4-0.

The Thunder claimed the first two doubles matches to finish at No. 3 and 2 to take a 1-0 lead entering singles competition. Wheaton grabbed its first victory at No. 6 before a win at No. 3 moved the advantage out to 3-0. The Thunder earned the clinching match at No. 4. 

Augustana ends the season with a 5-13 record.
