CORALVILLE, Iowa -- Sandie Pfeil, Moni Griffin, Aine Moffit, and Sawyer Graham completed the NCWWC National Championships on Friday and Saturday, becoming the second group of Augustana women's wrestlers to compete at the event. 

On Friday, Moffit grabbed an 8-0 decision against Minot State in her opening round of the 145 weight class to win her first match on the national stage. In the consolation bracket, she defeated the No. 14 ranked wrestler by an 8-4 decision before grabbing a 7-4 decision over the No. 19 ranked opponent to remain in contention and advance to Saturday.

Graham bounced back from an opening-round loss with a 7-0 decision over Chadron. In round two of the consolation bracket, the senior defeated her No. 13 opponent from Colorado Mesa before falling in round three to conclude the event with a 2-2 record. Both of her defeats came to wrestlers ranked in the top 15 nationally. 

Pfeil and Griffin were defeated in both of their attempts in their respective weight classes.

On Saturday, Moffit fell in her first match to North Central to conclude the Vikings' stay in Coralville.

Augustana earned three team points over the weekend to finish in 43rd, the first time placing at the national meet.
