NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's track & field team has been projected third in the upcoming CCIW indoor track & field championships as voted on in the pre-championship coaches' poll released Thursday morning.
Augustana earned 49 total points, eight ahead of Illinois Wesleyan in fourth and nine behind North Central in second. The Vikings are looking to improve upon their fifth-place standing at last year's conference meet, which saw a pair of conference champions.
McKenzie Reser on the 60m dash and had top-five performances in the 200m and 400m.
Emma Odle was third in the mile and the relay tam or Reser,
Jordyn Van Santen,
Cora Deemer, and
Shakira Wade claimed third in the 4x400.
Rhiannon Marshall and
Heather Michalski also earned top-three finishes in the high jump and shot put.
