MOLINE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's bowling team finished fifth out of eight teams at the Viking Classic over the weekend with a 5-4 record. The Vikings bowled 44 games to obtain 7,033 pins.

Cassie Kontos was the top individual placer for Augie with a 12th-place finish totaling 883 and a game-high of 188. Sarah Stevanovic followed in 15th place with a total score of 844 after five games with a game-high of 203 in her first game. Samantha Olson finished 19th with a score of 818 and rolled 229 in her fourth game. Maddie Lathrop clinched a top-20 finish with a score of 816 and collected a high of 181 in her fourth game. Cami Flores finished 24th with a score of 740 and rolled 187 in her second game. 

The Vikings will be back in action for the second CCIW Tournament on March 1-2.
