LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's wrestling team competed at the UW-La Crosse Duals on Saturday, falling to all three matchups. The Vikings were defeated by No. 5 UW-La Crosse by a score of 46-0, and fell to UW-Oshkosh 28-22. In their final matchup, Augie fell to No. 24 Central by a score of 49-5.

In the first dual against UW-La Crosse, the Eagles conquered every weight class. In the battle against UW-Oshkosh, Jack Reina secured the 125 weight division with a sudden victory fall to grab the early 6-0 lead. The Titans followed with a win at 133 before Matt Lucansky grabbed a major decision in the 141 category. UW-Oshkosh tallied the next three weight divisions, and Jack Miller followed with a pin in the 174 division to move the matchup 18-16. The teams traded wins, with Braiden Young securing the 197 class with a pin to keep the score within two at 22-24. However, the Titans secured the final match to claim a 28-22 victory. 

In the final dual against Central, the Dutch claimed all the weight classes except 174, when Miller secured a 19-2 technical fall to earn five team points. Central secured the final three categories to win 49-5. 

With the three losses, Augie moves to 1-6 on the season and will be back in action on Jan. 3 for the Fred Johnson Duals.
