WAVERLY, Iowa -- The Augustana Vikings women's wrestling team fell to the Wartburg Knights on Friday night by a score of 40-3.

The Vikings kicked off the event with one team point in the 103 division after Mia Vazquez fell to a No. 4 regionally ranked opponent. The Knights secured the next two divisions before Hannah Suboni-Kaufman collected a team point at 124. In the 138 weight class, Bri Bynum secured one team point after grabbing one point against her No. 3-ranked foe. Wartburg claimed the final four weight classes, while Kelly Ladd earned a 6-0 decision in extra matches. 

With the loss, Augie moves to 2-2 on the season and will be back in action at home to host Simpson.
