ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings cross country teams completed the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Saturday. The men finished sixth out of 12 teams, while the women placed fourth out of seven.
Christian Haywood was the top individual placer for Augie on the men's side with a time of 27:36.3 to finish 19th.
Daniel Prochaska followed in 22nd with a time of 27:46.1.
Other finishers for Augie were
Lukas Nykaza (28:45.8),
Isaac Schuda (28:47.1),
Ethan Storie (29:05.8),
Emiliano Almendariz (29:12.7),
Ben Gricius (29:18.2),
Adam Miller (29:22.7),
Liam Storie (29:29.5),
Ben Milner (29:48.7), and
Mitch Dolynchuk (29:50.4).
On the women's side,
Keira Nelson placed 17th with a time of 24:37.8, while
Frida Martinez crossed the finish line at 25:18.3 for 22nd.
Norah Wright finished with a time of 25:30.7 for 26th, and
Ryan Jednachowski clinched 29th with a time of 25:37.8.

The Vikings will be back in action on Oct. 18 to host the Augustana Interregional Invitational.
