BETTENDORF, Iowa -- The Augustana Vikings women's bowling team defeated the Edgewood Eagles on Saturday in two games with final scores of 838-616 and 842-603.

Molly Singleton led the team with a game one score of 233 and a game two score of 221, for a total of 545. Samantha Olson followed with a total of 350 after knocking down 183 and 167 pins on the day. Anna Ricci followed with scores of 174 and 176 for a total of 341, and Kathryn Edwards shot 311 with game scores of 166 and 145.

Cassie Kontos and Laurin Jacobs played one game, with Kontos collecting 144 pins and Jacobs securing a score of 141. 

The Vikings open the campaign with a 1-0 record and will be back in action on Nov. 1-2 for the 5 Seasons Classic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
