Box Score WAUKESHA, Wis -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team defated the Carroll Pioneers by a score of 5-2.

The Vikings dominated doubles action winning all three spots. Hannah Colbert and Colleen Lary secured the No. 1 spot with a score of 6-4, while Maripaz Ramirez and Anna-Maria Huebel won No. 2 in straight sets. Natasha Gauerke and Maitreyi Shrikhande played to a 7-5 victory at the No. 3 spot.

In singles action, Huebel secured the No. 3 slot with a score of 6-3 and 6-4, while Maddy Harned forced extra sets after picking up a 7-6 (4), 2-6, and 10-6 battle at No. 5. Shrikhande closed out the match with a 6-4 adn 7-5 victory at No. 6 to help secure the 5-2 win. Colbert and Ramirez forced extra sets at No. 1 and No.2, but dropped the tough battle.

The Vikings finished the fall season with a 5-3 record and 3-3 in conference play to sit in a tie for third in teh conference alongside Carthage.
