MOUNT VERNON, Iowa -- Members of the Augustana Vikings men's wrestling team competed at the Cliff Keen-Mike Duroe Invitational on Saturday.

Jaylen Clayton secured a pin against Eureka in the 133 weight class to start the day before falling to Cornell by a 17-0 technical fall. In the consolation bracket, Clayton grabbed a 4-3 decision against Simpson. Khadyn Jacobs collected pins over Dubuque and Cornell in the 133 division. Conor Phelan received a bye in his first round in the 197 division before earning a pin against a foe from Coe. In the 149 consolation bracket, Kameron Hanel notched a bye in the first round before securing a pin versus St. Ambrose and winning an 8-7 decision Coe before falling in the semifinals. 

The Viking will be back in action on Saturday, January 25 for the CCIW Duals.
