PEORIA, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team finished the three-day event on Saturday in third place with a total of 900 and 36 over-par, making it the first time the Vikings have finished in the top three since the 2003-04 season. 

Alexandre Thery earned all-conference honors, the first for Augie since 2007, after ending in a tie for 10th with a total of 222 and round scores of 73, 75, and 74. Sam Evenson followed in 17th place after hitting a total of 227 and a 75 on the day, while Vilhelm Johansson moved up 13 places to finish in a two-way tie for 21st with a round score of 70, good for 2-under par. Patrick McGrath moved to 23rd place after a round score of 75 and a total of 231. Adam Soczka concluded the three-day event with a final round score of 80 for a total of 233 to tie with two others in 25th.
