MANHEIM, Pa. -- The NWCA has announced the 2024 Scholar All-America Team and individual honorees for NCAA Division III. As a team, Augie is ranked 13th out of 30 teams with an overall GPA of 3.640, with five individuals being recognized. 

Senior Trevor Boryla earned NWCA Scholar All-American honors for the second straight season, while juniors Josh Woodrey, Jacob Badger, and Clay DeBaillie also represented Augustana. Freshman Michael Macias was the Vikings' fifth wrestler on the list.  Both Boryla and Badger are studying Biology at Augustana, while DeBaillie is a Pre-Med major and Woodrey an Engineering major. Macias is classified as undecided. 

"Through their unwavering dedication, these athletes and teams showcase a commitment that extends beyond the mat and into the classroom. Congratulations to each of this year's recipients," shared Mike Moyer, NWCA Executive Director.
