VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Heather Michalski of Augustana women's track & field wrapped up her trip to the 2023-24 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Saturday in the shot put event.

Michalski earned a spot to the national stage after posting a season-best mark of 13.61m in the event earlier this year, which placed her inside the top 20 in the country. On Saturday, Michalski improved on all three tosses, finishing with a final mark 12.12 meters.

Michalski is the second women's track & field student-athlete to make it to nationals in the last three seasons. 

This concludes the indoor season for Augustana. The Vikings will begin their outdoor slate on March 29.
