ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Members of the Augustana Vikings track & field teams kicked off the outdoor season on Thursday and Friday at the WashU Distance Carnival.
On the women's side, Emma Odle clocked in a time of 10:49.57 in the 3000-meter steeplechase to finish seventh and set a new Augie record after beating her 2023 season time by 20 seconds. In the 10,000-meter run, Anna Boardman crossed the finish line with a time of 36:46.28 to earn second all-time in the Augie record book. The time is also good for No. 19 in the nation inÂ
For the men, Joe Langridge placed 13th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:12.62 to enter the top 10 all-time in Augustana history.
Other members of the Augie track & field teams will compete in day two of the Southern Miss Invitational tomorrow.
