INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Augustana Vikings women's wrestling team fell by a score of 33-14 on Thursday to the No. 22 Simpson Storm.

The Storm secured the first four weight classes to make a 17-0 score before Moni Griffin collected a 10-0 technical fall in the 131-weight division to obtain four points for the Vikings. Simpson snatched the 138 category but Aine Moffit grabbed five points off of a forfeit in the 145 matchup. Maryam Ndiaye conquered the 160-weight division with a 10-2 decision but the Storm closed out the event with wins in the final two weight classes to make a 33-14 final score. 

Sandie Pfeil fell to a nationally-ranked wrestler in the 124-weight division. 

With the loss, Augie moves to 1-2 on the season and will return on January 4 to host the Fred Johnson Duals in the Carver Center.
