TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Augustana Vikings traveled to Terre Haute, Ind. for one final race as a team on Saturday. The travel squad of seniors Joe Langridge, Finbar Martin, Grant Ackard, Alex Gazarek, Joe Gibbons, and Donovan Garro, and sophomore Jose Gomez set the stage for the season's final showing.
 
Ackard led the charge for the Vikings finishing in 79th place with a time of 25:02.8. Martin followed Ackard in 98th place with a time of 25:11.5. 
 
Langridge was Augie's No. 3 in 250th place, crossing the line in 26:10.2. Gazarek was 267th with a time of 26:30.1.
 
Gomez, Augie's most junior member of the national qualifying team, was 280th with a time of 26:50.0. Garro and Gibbons were 287th and 292nd, respectively, crossing the finish line in 27:06.6 and 27:48.8.
 
Apart from Langridge, who competed at the 2023 NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships, it was the first venture to the national stage for the Viking men. The team finished in 31st place overall.
