ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's and women's swimming & diving teams will return home on Saturday, November 23 to take on the Grinnell Pioneers for Senior Day.

Both the Augie men and women have seen a lot of winning so far this season, each picking up three dual wins and a first-place invitational finish through four contests. The Vikings are coming off a dominant showing against Illinois Wesleyan the last time out, with the men winning by a score of 181-28 and the women 165-53. Between the two teams, the Vikings won 22 of 24 races, including all of the swimming events on the men's side. The victories were the both the fifth straight for the men and women over the Titans dating back to 2021.

The Grinnell men and women each sit with a 1-0 record in dual meets this season, recently picking up victories on the road over Coe. Like Augustana, the Pioneers have seen a lot of success early on, with the men earning four first-place finishes at invites and the women with three. The Grinnell men were 5-0 in dual meets during the 2023-24 campaign, while the women also posted an identical 5-0 mark. 

On the women's side, Augustana is 2-7 all-time vs. Grinnell. The Pioneers were victorious at home last season in a close battle by a score of 149-136. Grinnell also bested the Augustana men in 2023-24 by a final of 162-120.
