WARRENVILLE, Ill. – The Vikings traveled to Warrenville, Illinois for the CCIW Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The Viking men ran their way to a second-place team finish behind North Central. Over the 8k distance, Augie boasted two First Team All-CCIW finishes from Joe Langridge and Finbar Martin. Langridge crossed the line in fourth place with a time of 24:23.4. Martin closely followed Langridge for a seventh-place finish in 24:38.3. The efforts by Langridge and Martin were personal bests.
 
Second Team All-CCIW honors were earned by Grant Ackard and Alex Gazarek, who finished in 14th and 18th, respectively. Ackard crossed the line with a time of 24:56.7, and Gazarek finished the race with a time of 25:18.6 for a personal best.
 
Senior Donovan Garro rounded out the Vikings top-five in 27th place with a time of 26:05.4, also a personal best.
