ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's and women's wrestling teams will host the Elmhurst Bluejays on Wednesday, November 20 in the Carver Center.

The Vikings return from the Albion Invitational in Michigan on Sunday, where they collected eight top-10 placements. 

On the women's side, Bri Bynum finished second in the 138 weight division after receiving a bye, a pin, and two technical falls. Sandie Pfeil placed third in the 124 weight class with two pins and two decisions, while Moni Griffin received a bye, a 10-0 technical fall, and a pin to place fourth. Sawyer Graham earned three 10-0 technical falls and a pin to finish fifth in the 160 category and Lanie Cecala finished sixth in the 138 weight division with a bye, 10-0 technical fall, and a pin.  

For the men, Michael Macias finished second in the 157 weight division after collecting two decisions, a 15-0 technical fall, and a pin. Jack Patting placed third in the 165 weight class after notching four pins and a 7-6 decision. Clay DeBaillie finished fifth in the 197 category with a 6-0 decision and a pin. 

The Bluejays return to action after competing at the Millikin Open and Lakeland Scramble on Saturday. For the men, Rhenzo Augusto and Mataeo Blessing placed in their respective classes, Augusto finished second, while Blessing finished seventh. The women didn't find any match wins in their battle against Lakeland. The men are 1-1 in conference action with their last CCIW dual being a 38-12 win against Wheaton and tomorrow will be the women's first conference dual of the season. 

Both men's teams have a 3-3 all-time series record against each other with Elmhurst grabbing a 26-22 victory last season, while this will be the first meeting on the women's side.
