INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Emma Odle qualified for the national meet after her performance at the regional meet, the NCAA announced on Sunday.
 
Odle was the top finisher for Augie on the women's side at the NCAA Midwest Regional, hosted by the Vikings. She placed fifth overall with a time of 21:48.6 on her home turf at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill. Her performance earned her All-Region honors.
 
In 2023, Odle also qualified for the NCAA DIII Cross Country National Championships where she placed 70th overall. This season's national meet qualification adds to Odle's long list of impressive performances in the 2024 season, where she has led the Viking women from gun to tape in every race. This will be her second time competing on the national stage in cross country.
 
The NCAA Championship meet will be held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind. on November 23.
