ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings wrestling team battled the No. 3 ranked North Central Cardinals on Wednesday, falling by a score of 47-1.

The Cardinals won all weight divisions in the match, but the Vikings saw a strong showing out of Sandie Pfeil in the 124 class to earn a point. Pfeil came up short against her opponent via a 6-5 decision.

Augustana drops to 1-0 with the loss and will return to action on Sunday for the Albion Invitational.
