ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's wrestling team dropped a conference match to the No. 6 North Central Cardinals on Wednesday, falling by a score of 42-6

Beginning the contest, Chris Sitter dropped to the No. 2 ranked wrestler and the Cardinals collected the next four weight categories. In the 157 weight class, Michael Macias went into overtime, which concluded in an 8-5 decision for North Central. Jack Miller secured the lone win for the Vikings after pinning his opponent in the 174 weight division. Jack Patting and Clay DeBaillie each battled ranked opponents in their respective weight classes. 

Augie will hit the road on Sunday, November 17 for the Albion Invitational in Michigan.
