ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team won a JV dual against the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees on Wednesday at Highland Springs Golf Course.

Jacob Brokaw and Thomas Fornelli led the team in the win, firing round scores of 75 each. Dylan Malecha was a close third with a 76 as Augie shot a JV school record 304 to St. Ambrose's 312. Crayton Hardin rounded out the Augie scoring with a 78. Luke Petersen finished in seventh place, one sport behind Hardin, with a score of 79. Brokaw earned the medalist honor with a birdie on the first playoff hole.

The Vikings will be back in action October 2-3 at the Central Fall Classic in Iowa City, Iowa.
