DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team sent a group of golfers to Emeis Park to take on St. Ambrose on Thursday, winning the JV dual against the Fighting Bees by a single stroke. 

Crayton Hardin led the Vikings with his team-best 76 round score, followed close by Dylan Malecha's 77. Malecha competed in the final group, clinching the one-stroke victory for the Vikings with his 77 score. Luke Petersen and Ryan Crowe were next in line for Augie, each carding a 79 to round out the top four for the team.

The Vikings finished the day with a 311, one ahead of St. Ambrose's 312.

Augustana is back in action on September 22-23 at the Midwest Classic in Kansasville, Wis.
