NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Emily Schipper and Grace Vranicar of Augustana women's volleyball have been named recipients of the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week award, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Schipper, the conference's winner for offense, averaged 4.82 kills over five matches last week, including 21 in a sweep over Adrian. She also hit at a .322 clip and posted four matches tallying double-digit digs, averaging 3.12 on the week.

Vranicar was the selection for defense by the conference after boasting 7.11 digs per set across five matches played. She also added 11 assists and average 0.33 aces per game. She had 25 digs in four of the five contests last week, two of which were just three sets.
