ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team will play host to the Millikin Big Blue on Tuesday, September 12 in their first dual of the 2023-24 season.

Augustana is coming off of a 10-7 overall record and 4-4 mark last season, which included a trip to the CCIW Tournament semifinals. The Vikings return senior Caitlyn Hanulikova, who earned CCIW All-Conference in 2021, as well as other key contributors from last year's team. Hannah Colbert is back for the Vikings, who finished third on the team last year in singles wins and played with Hanulikova in doubles, also leading the Vikings in wins with six as a tandem.

Millikin currently sits 1-2 on the season, most recently falling at home to Greenville by a score of 5-4. The Big Blue finished 14-5 in 2022-23 and a 6-1 record in conference, eventually falling in the CCIW semifinals to Wheaton.

Augustana is 36-4 all-time against Millikin, but has dropped the last three meetings. The Big Blue won last year's encounter in Decatur, Ill. by a 7-2 final.
