ROCK ISLAND -- The 2023 Augustana men's water polo schedule has been released and is now available for viewing.
The Vikings will begin their third season as a program on September 2 when they travel to the east coast for a pair of first-time matchups against Brown and Fordham. Augie will also take Wheaton (Mass.) and Mount St. Mary's the following day, also for the first time ever.
Later in September, Augustana will head to the back to the Gary Troyer Tournament for the first time in two years before taking on a pair of local schools in La Verne and Whittier on October 1 to round out their trip in California. One week later, the Vikings return to the east coast for the first of two MPSF weekends. The Vikings will play tentatively play a non-conference bout at Mercyhurst on October 6 before their first action in conference at Penn State Behrend. Matchups for this weekend will be announced at a later date.
Augustana will host the second MPSF weekend nearly a month later, beginning with Washington and Jefferson for their home opener on November 4. The weekend, consisted of four games, will be their final regular season contests before heading out to the MPSF Championships in Berkeley, Calif. from November 17-19.
The USA Water Polo DIII National Tournament is slated to take place December 2-3.
