NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team saw their postseason run come to an end on Friday in the CCIW Tournament semifinals, falling to the No. 1 seeded North Central Cardinals by a score of 6-0.
The Cardinals took all three doubles matches to begin the match with a 3-0 advantage. The Cardinals won at No. 1 by a score of 8-2 before taking the No. 3 spot by a final of 8-3.

Lily Schoeck battled at the No. 2 position, but eventually fell by a score of 8-4.
North Central began singles with a win at No. 1 before simultaneously taking victories at No. 3 and 5 to close the match at its 6-0 final score.
Augustana ends the 2022-23 season with a 10-7 overall record. The Vikings have now posted double-digit wins in 16 of the last 17 seasons.
