Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's tennis team earned their second win in a row on Sunday, besting the Illinois College Blueboys by a score of 9-0.

The Vikings swept all three doubles matches on their way to an early 3-0 advantage. Arthur Mendes and Jesse Dyer were flawless in their win at No. 3 doubles, winning by a score of 8-0. Nicolas Navarro and Eliot Saint-Paul took down their opponent at No. 2 by a score of 8-1, while Deepak Vayara and Quentin Essayie grabbed an 8-2 victory at the top spot.

In singles, Augustana claimed all six matches, three being won by 6-0, 6-0 scores from Navarro, Mendes, and Saint-Paul at No. 3, 4, and 5. Essayie and Vayara were victorious at the top two singles positions, while Emilio Rodriguez closed out the 9-0 win with a triumph at No. 6 singles, beating his opponent by a score of 6-2, 6-1.

With the victory, Augie improves to 4-3 overall. The team will kick off conference play on Friday, March 24 when they take on Illinois Wesleyan on the road. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m. from Bloomington, Ill.
