Box Score HOLLAND, Mich. -- The Augustana Vikings women's tennis team was defeated on the road on Saturday, falling to the Hope Flying Dutch by a final score of 9-0.

The home team grabbed all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead into singles action. Lily Schoeck and Lauren Oda battled at the No. 2 spot, but eventually fell by a final of 8-5. Hope took No. 1 and 3 by identical scores of 8-3.

In singles, the Flying Dutch won all six to complete the 9-0 win. Schoeck bounced back from a 6-1 first-set loss at No. 1, nearly forcing a third before dropping the second 7-5. At No. 4, Hannah Colbert won the second set after falling in the first, but lost the tiebreaker 10-6.

With the loss, Augustana falls to 7-6 on the season. The team will be back in action on Saturday, March 18 at Dubuque. Start time is scheduled for 11 a.m.
