BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Carson Eipers completed his run at the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships on Friday, finishing 11th overall in the weight throw competition.

Eipers recorded tosses of 17.87m and 18.34m in his first two attempts before his throw of 18.42m placed him 11th out of 20 participants to wrap up the preliminary round. The top-nine athletes advanced to the finals, eliminating the Augie hurler.

He will rejoin the Augie men's and women's track and field teams when they begin their outdoor season at the WashU Mini Meet in St. Louis, Mo. on Saturday, March 25.
