NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Daniel Skold of Augustana men's wrestler has been named the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Skold, a senior from Plainfield, Ill., picked up a big win for the Vikings last Friday night at Wisconsin-Platteville, besting the Pioneers' Brett Schoenherr 3-2 at 285 pounds. His opponent entered the bout ranked as high as No. 8 nationally by InterMat rankings.
 
Skold joins teammate Josh Woodrey (Dec. 20) as CCIW Student-Athletes of the Week in men's wrestling this season.
