GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three members of the Augustana Vikings women's volleyball team have been named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Emily Schipper,
Amelie Baehr-Ross, and
Jenny Dunder were among those recognized.
Schipper, a senior from Fulton, Ill., earned First Team All-CCIW this season after leading the Vikings in kills. In all matches, the senior ranked second in kills per set and was fourth in CCIW matches in both total kills and kills per game. She led the team in kills this season with 449 and finished the regular season with a hitting percentage of .224. She also ranked fourth on the team in digs with 264, good for 2.38 per game. She is a four-time Dean's List recipient and a double major in Communication, Sciences, and Disorders, and Psychology. Additionally, Schipper was accepted into Augustana's Speech and Language Pathology graduate program.
Baehr-Ross, a senior from Thornton, Colo., was named a Second Team All-CCIW honoree in 2023. The senior setter was third in the CCIW in total assists and fifth in assists per game in conference matches with 8.50. She also ranked third in service aces with 18. Baehr-Ross was second on the team in digs in 2023 and had an attack percentage of .228 from the setter position. She is a triple major in Psychology, Communication Studies, and Women Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is a Dean's List recipient and is the president of the Rocky Mountain Club.
Dunder, a senior from Longmont, Colo., is a double major in Business Administration-Marketing and Political Science at Augustana. She is a Dean's List honoree and was awarded the Presidential Scholarship for Academics. On the court this season, she appeared in 115 sets of the team's 117, finishing fifth on the team in kills and second in blocks.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 19 (men) and December 20 (women). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
