ROCK ISLAND – The Augustana men's wrestling team completed a cross-river dual against St. Ambrose on Tuesday night, securing a 24-18 victory over the Fighting Bees. 

An early defeat in the 125 class saw an immediate response from the Vikings, securing back-to-back victories. Augie conquered the 133 class by forfeit before Kameron Hanel secured an 8-2 decision win over Riley Woods.

The Fighting Bees responded by rattling off three straight wins at the 149, 157, and 165 levels. Vinny Querciagrossa halted the streak with a decision victory at 174. Augie trailed by six entering the final match of the night.

The back-and-forth dual hung in the balance as the 197 class took the mat. Jacob Badger wasted no time, pinning Tyler Casey with 33 seconds remaining in the opening period to secure Augustana's sixth dual win this season.
