PELLA, Iowa -- The Augustana Vikings women's volleyball team will resume action on Wednesday, September 7 when they take on the Central Dutch in a road matchup.
Augie is coming off of a 1-2 weekend at the Lake Forest Invitational, picking up a 3-0 win over Trine before dropping matches to Illinois Tech and Lakeland. The Vikings sit at 2-2 on the season, with their other win coming in their season opener against Knox. Augustana has enjoyed a balanced attack on offense so far this season, boasting four different players with 20-plus kills.
Caroline Hurst currently sits as the team leader with 39.
Central has yet to play a match this season and will welcome the Vikings for both their home and season opener. The Dutch were 15-13 in 2021, but dropped five of their final six matches to close out the year.
