KANSASVILLE, Wis. -- Augustana men's golf traveled to the Midwest Region Fall Classic at Brighton Dale Golf Club for a two-day affair September 25-26, resulting in a 16th place finish out of 27 teams.

Freshman Noah Ehlenbach shot a 153, tying for the best finish of his collegiate career. His score of 73 in the first round was good for his lowest round as Viking so far. The nine-over score netted him a 26th place finish, tying five other individuals.

The Vikings finishing behind him started with senior Tyler Langel turning in a 160. He tallied an Augie-best 79 on day two, while shooting an 81 on Sunday. Langel also led the Vikings effort on par-fives, saving himself four strokes on the weekend. Sophomore Adam Soczka trailed just behind him with a 162. Soczka tied Ehlenbach for the most pars by any Viking on the weekend with 20. Aaron Rogers shot a 166 to help pace Augie

Augustana will be back for their final outing this fall the Region V Fall Preview, held at Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio on October 3-4. Start time on Tuesday is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
