Box Score ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Arthur Hermange and Quentin Essayie competed at the ITA Regional Championships over the weekend, each winning their opening-round match on Friday in both singles an doubles action.

In singles, Hermange made quick work of his opponent from Hope in the opening round, winning by a score of 6-0, 6-0. He was defeated later in the day in three sets by Luis Platas from Kenyon by a final of 6-0, 3-6, 6-2. Essayie was also victorious in his first match of the weekend, defeating his opponent from Albion by a score of 6-2, 6-2. He fell in the second round 6-4, 6-0 to Andres Sanchez out of Greenville.

Hermange and Essayie also won their first doubles match, defeating Ohio Wesleyan by a score of 8-4. They fell to DePauw, 8-5, to conclude their stay.

This wraps up the fall portion of the schedule for Augie men's tennis. They will resume action on February 18 against Luther.
