GALENA, Ill. – The Augustana men's golf team competed in a loaded field at the Clarke University Fall Invite last night. The Vikings finished in 10th-place on the team leaderboard and had one representative in the Top 15 of the individual leaderboard.
 
Adam Soczka finished T15 with a score of 80 to lead the Vikings in Galena. Seniors Jonah Snelling and Tyler Langel followed with respective scores of 82 and 85. Danny Ford and Billy Taylor rounded out the Vikings' lineup with a rounds of 92.
 
Luke Galeazzi of Hawkeye Community College won the individual race with a one-over 74. Two other junior college players, Luke Lofgren of Black Hawk College and Oskar Akerlind of Highland CC, tied for runner-up at +2.
 
Iowa Central Community College won the team crown at +16 while the hosts from Clarke finished T3.
 
The Viking men will return to the Quad Cities this weekend for their next event. Augustana will host both men and women at the 2022 Highland Classic.
