ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's volleyball team will dive back into CCIW play on Tuesday, September 20 when they host the North Central Cardinals in an important conference matchup.

Augustana's win streak currently sits at five as they enter Tuesday with a 10-3 record. The Vikings were perfect at their home Viking Classic this past weekend, going 4-0 after dropping just two sets the entire weekend. The 10-3 start is the program's best start to the season since 2014, when they began the year 11-2 through 13 matches. Amelie Baehr-Ross was named to the Viking Classic All-Tournament Team after posting a career-high 44 assists twice throughout the weekend.

North Central currently sits with a 4-3 record overall. The Cardinals have dropped three straight after beginning the year 4-0. North Central dropped all three contests at an invitational at UW-Whitewater this past weekend, falling to the host team Warhawks 3-1 in their most recent outing. Augie and North Central have two common opponents this year, both defeating Knox and falling to Coe.

Each team has won 28 times in their all-time series. Augustana won last year's meeting in Naperville by a score of 3-0. The Vikings have won three straight over the Cardinals.
