NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Amelie Baehr-Ross of Augustana women's volleyball has been named the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week, the conference announded Monday afternoon.

Baehr-Ross earned player of the week honors in the defensive/setter/libero category after helping lead the Vikings to a 5-0 record last week. On Wednesday, she posted a career-best 44 assists in the team's 3-1 road victory over Wheaton to begin conference play. She then tallied three matches of 30-plus assists during the Viking Classic on September 16-17, securing another 44-assist effort in their 3-1 win over Monmouth.

Following their 4-0 performance at the Viking Classic, Baehr-Ross was named to the All-Tournament Team. She finished the week averaging over 11 assists per set.
