Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SHERMAN, Texas -- The Augustana Vikings men's water polo team improved to 4-0 in MPSF play on Saturday, defeating the Penn State Behrend Lions and Austin Roos at the Roo Invitational. 

Joseph Addison and Oskar Bannister scored three goals apiece in the team's 15-9 win against Penn State Behrend to begin the day, their second win of the season over the Lions. It was a balanced attack for Augie, seeing eight different players tally at least one score. Five of those eight had multiple goals for the Vikings as Colin McDowell, Mikel Navajas, and Mark Addison all notched multi-score games. Will Riebel secured three assists for the Vikings, while McDowell led the team with three steals.

Henry Sothern stopped nine shots from the Lions in net. 

Augustana is now 5-0 all-time against Penn State Behrend.

The Vikings then faced the host school Austin 'Roos in the second game of the day, winning by a score of 14-10 for their first-ever win over the 'Roos. Bannister racked up four scores to lead the Vikings in the win, followed by three from McDowell. Zander O'Dwyer and M. Addison each added two apiece to contribute to the four-point victory.

Reigning MPSF Newcomer of the Week Declan Hutton finished with 19 saves in net to go alone with three steals.

With the wins, Augustana improves to 5-2 overall and is now 4-0 in MPSF games. The Vikings will conclude their stay in Texas on Sunday, September 18 with a matchup against Washington & Jefferson at 8:00 a.m., followed by a non-league matchup with Connecticut College at 1:00 p.m.
