NORMAL, Ill. – Augustana men's golf completed play at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational earlier today. The Vikings' unit finished alone in 21^st place among a loaded field of 25 teams.
 
Tyler Langel led the Viking roster with scores of 76 and 75 and finished as the lone Augie player in the top 20 on the individual board at T-14.
 
Other Viking participants include Jonah Snelling (T-89), Hunter Love (T-96), Adam Soczka (T-101), and Dan Ford (T-127).
 
The hosts from Illinois Wesleyan captured the team crown with 582 total strokes. The Titans also boasted three individuals in the top 10 including the runner-up, Bobby Beaubien.
 
Webster University tied with Aurora for second place in the team competition, but the Gorloks' Will Hocker took the individual race with scores of 67 and 73.
 
Augustana will return to the Quad Cities for their next event. The Vikings will host the Augustana Invite at Highland Springs Golf Course on Friday, Apr. 8 and Saturday, Apr. 9.
