PELLA, Iowa – Augustana men's golf competed at the Ryerson Invitational on Monday. Hosted by Central College and Bos Landen Golf Club, the Vikings were one of seven teams in attendance.
 
Augustana finished in fourth position in the team race. The hosts from Central fielded four separate teams, three of which took first, second, and third place.
 
Adam Soczka led the Vikings with a T-5 finish after a round of 79. Dan Ford and Jonah Snelling also posted top-20 results at T-11 and T-18, respectively. Tyler Langel ended the day T-23 after a round of 86 while Hunter Love rounded out the Viking roster at T-28.
 
Central's Cole Hartnett won the individual crown with a round of 77. Trey Wood and John Ottman, both of Central, tied for second with Buena Vista University's Shane Hess after shooting 78.
 
For their next event, Augustana will travel to Milwaukee, Wis. for the CCIW Preview meet on Wednesday, Apr. 13.
